Description of service(s) Volunteer Centre of Charlotte County  
 
Weekly Emergency Food Bank that can assist those with special dietary needs, including healthy choices.  
Frugal Furnishings; Low cost and free furniture and house hold items 
POOL Snacks- Free fruit & Drinks Daily at local pool. 
Provision of school supplies, winter clothing exchange, income tax preparation, adopt a family Christmas project, coupon/book exchange, basic infant/ Volunteer recruitment, referral, and placements. 
 
Young and Family Volunteer Program with youth between ages 9-15  
interested in volunteering, Training takes place in July and August opportunities to volunteer all year long; contact the co-ordinator for more information.

8 am - 4 pm daily 
 
Emergency Food Bank 
Mon- Wed & 10:00am-3:00pm; Friday 9 am - 1pm  
 
Frugal Furnishings located at 107 Milltown Blvd., 
Monday- Fridya 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10 am - 3 pm  
 
POOL Snacks 2pm - 4 pm Daily through July & August

Eligibility No age restrictions.
Application When you visit a food bank, you will be asked for information about your income, your address and your expenditures. It is important to bring the following:  
 
Identification for all family members  
Proof of your current address 
 
This information is asked the first time you visit the food bank. You will not be required to bring it at each visit but we recommend that you bring a piece of identification each time.
