Description & Services
Description of service(s) NB South Central Transition House & Second Stage Coalition representing 10 Transition Houses as well as 3 Second Stage Facilities. 
 
The members of the coalition will meet regularly to work on behalf of the shelters and second stage in South Central New Brunswick for training shelter workers and to work with government on behalf of abused women and their children so services will be maintained or developed to meet their needs. 
 
The SCTHSSC is a network of transition houses and second stage houses in New Brunswick based on feminist principles of justice, equality and peace dedicated to the elimination of violence against women and their children through awareness raising and by working to ensure quality services designed to empower and support women.
